Chelsea wants to win the chatterbox competition to prove to her parents that she is as good as her brother and sister. Her parents forbid her to compete as they believe the competition will hamper her grades. With the help of her friends, Stephanie and Tina, she enters the competition but becomes rivals with Valerie, a snooty, snobbish, dubious girl whose eyes are on the chatterbox title. Valerie is also the girlfriend to Alex, Chelsea’s secret love interest, whom she uses to thwart Chelsea’s chances. As the situation gets out of hand, resulting in cheating, lies and deceit, Chelsea turns to Jess ,Valerie’s former friend, who has a secret agenda of her own.
