For patch fixing, simply clear away weeds, stones and debris, loosen the soil, apply the mix evenly and water gently. Keep the treated area damp for the first few days to help the seed begin to grow. For overseeding, mow the lawn closely, rake away moss and weeds, apply the seed mix evenly, then water and keep the surface moist for around two weeks. Aftercare: Keep the area well-watered using a sprinkler or hose spray with light or fine spray particularly if dry weather follows sowing. Cut the lawn for the first time when the grass reaches 5-8cm high. At this stage trim lightly and then for the successive cuts gradually lower the mower blades to the idea cutting height of 25mm. Do not remove more than 40% of the grass height in one mowing. For the best results, continue watering your grass throughout the first year establishment.
