The Charged FT100 - 12-24v And Battery powered Photocells are the perfect replacement for existing sensors for electric gates and garage doors. Due to changes in storage and shipping rules we have removed batteries from the product. Some of the previous reviews were that batteries did not work, potentially bad cells or stored incorrectly. Be mindful in choosing batteries for external use. Exposure to cold temperatures severely impacts the life span of a battery. Lithium batteries can be much more effective and withstand lower temperatures for longer. Designed for a universal fitting with wiring and changeable Relay to suit all systems. The Reciever Unit requires 3/4 core connection to the gate or door controller. 12-24v+, 0V/COM, Signal Our Photocells are designed for use for Less than 10M distance. They are resiliant to sunlight,fog and rain. Additional Rain/Sun shield units are available as an option. Instructions are included and our team are always on hand for any installation queries should you need them. All of our products have comprehensive installation videos available on Youtube. It is advisory to watch the installation video before trying to install the sensors. These are by design Universal and mainly sold for professional installers, The fixings supplied by default fit onto wooden posts but you can fix using any screws into any material that you require. If you have metal posts then you will likely want to drill new holes to suit your requirements in the back plate of the sensor then use the correct type of screw for your fixing requirement, such as a self tapping screw or larger wood screw if required.
