Roll the earplug between fingers to soften it, then gently pull the ear upwards and backwards to straighten the ear canal. Insert the earplug deep into the ear canal and hold in place for a few seconds to allow it to expand. Once in place, the earplug should fit securely and comfortably without protruding visibly. To remove, gently twist and pull the earplug out while keeping the ear upright. Regularly clean earplugs with a mild soap and water solution, allowing them to dry completely before storing in a cool, dry place.
