F1 Hybrid variety Sow: Mar to Jun Harvest: Jul to Oct Sowing Indoors Level fill a module tray with seed compost, firming with the base of another tray. Water well with a fine rose. Sow seeds individually, covering with 1 cm of compost (or sow singly in 7 cm pots). Keep moist at 10–15 °C. Planting Out Gradually acclimatise seedlings to outdoor conditions over 2–3 weeks before planting out, spacing 45 cm apart. Keep well watered in dry spells. Sowing Outdoors Sow seeds thinly in a shallow, pre-watered row. Lightly cover with soil and keep moist until seedlings are established. Thin to 10 cm apart. Transplanting When seedlings have produced about 4 true leaves, transplant to final cropping positions, leaving 45 cm between plants in rows 60 cm apart. Firm in and water well during dry weather.
