Many people love this look, but if you feel the brass is getting dirty and covered in grime then you can clean your knocker with lukewarm soapy water and a soft brush or cloth. Avoid using abrasive materials as they can scratch the surface of the brass. For a more radiant sheen, use a good quality brass polish.
