Solid Brass Bat Door Knocker This adorable bat door knocker is cast from solid brass with an unlacquered finish. The knocker hinges under the little fellow's feet and his head strikes against the separate striking plate. High quality casting beautifully shows the fine detail of the wings and face. Dimensions: Height: 140mm (5½“) Width: 50mm (2“) Fixing holes spacing: 120mm (4¾”) approx centre to centre. Fixes to your door with two bolts which go right through the door and screw into the rear of the knocker and striking plate. Bolts supplied are ¼" UNC thread and suitable for doors up to 6cm thick. How to care for your solid brass bat door knocker Your decorative brass door knocker will develop a mature and mellow patina over time. Many people love this look, but if you feel the brass is getting dirty and covered in grime then you can clean your knocker with lukewarm soapy water and a soft brush or cloth.
