This very light (between 350 and 750 g depending on size) close fitting and breathable back protector made of 85 % polyester, 15 % elasthanstretch mesh may be worn on top of a tee-shirt or under a jacket. Back area is reinforced with 4 layers of perforated nitrile memory foam for breathability and ease of movement. Top and bottom of back area are made of single stretchable shell for greater flexibility. Coolmax fabric lining (100% polyester) allows wicking away sweat and helps with body thermoregulation. This hydrophobic fiber retains humidity 8 times less than nylon and 14 times less than cotton, and eliminates bad smells as well. Front YKK zip framed with stripes; stripes on front and back side of shoulders and piping on sides. This garment has been tested and approved to the European Standard BS EN1621-2:2003, Level 2 referring to protective garments against mechanical shocks for motorcyclists - Part 2: Back protectors; Conforms to ISO 9001:2008 standards.
