- CARROT ST VALERY SEEDS: High yielding maincrop variety, popular since the 1880's. High quality, very uniform roots with excellent colour. Excellent source of vitamin A and antioxidants.
- SOW: March to June, HARVEST: June to November, SPACING: 30cm, PREFERS: Full Sun, SEEDS: 750 Approx.
- SOW OUTDOORS: Thinly where they are to crop, 1.5cm deep directly into finely prepared soil which has already been watered. Allow 30cm between rows. Early sowings may benefit from cloche protection. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Thin by harvesting young carrots evenly from the row, allowing remainder to grow on. Water well until plants are established and during dry spells. Regular sowings made every three weeks will ensure a continuous supply. Roots can be harvested at any stage.
