This filter cartridge is manufactured according to international carbonite patent based on the two-stage IFP Puro for Prime Inventions. It combines the special properties of a sintered carbonite monoblock with a microfiltration of 0.15 μm through the internal capillary membrane. Even high loads that could accumulate in the organism are reliably retained. Minerals dissolved in water are retained. The EM Puro is ideal at low line pressure and allows it to limit bacterial loads. The Ster-OTap capillary membrane is tested according to ANSI/NSF Standard 53 (Cyst and Turbidity Reduction). The activated carbon block used has tested safety according to German food law and is environmentally friendly using renewable raw materials. The addition of EM ceramic powder (EM = effective micro-organisms) gives the filter cartridge special properties. The taste of the water therefore appears more full-bodied and fresher to many users. Service life: The filter cartridge must be changed after 6 months (according to DIN 1988). Basically, 5,000 litres of water may be filtered within 6 months. However, an earlier change may be required when the water flow is noticeably reduced. An early change is not a deficiency of the filter used, but an indication of increased occurrence of fine particles in unfiltered water. Filter fineness: 0.15 μm (membrane) / 5 μm (activated carbon).
