- VELEVT CALATHEA - The Calathea rufibarba Elegergras, features slender, pointed leaves with an undulating edge in deep green with a reddish-purple underside. The underside of leaves have a fluffy velvet-like texture, hence why it is commonly known as the Velvet Calathea or Fuzzy Feathers plant.
- SUNLIGHT - Like most of the Calathea species, this plant goes to sleep every night by rolling its leaves into an upright position. But during the day it requires bright, indirect light for 6 or more hours each day. Its important not to allow it to sit in direct sunlight.
- WATERING - This plant likes consistently moist soil. Water the plant thoroughly and allow the top inch of soil to dry out before watering again. Be careful not to overwater, as this can cause root rot. If the soil is too wet, you may notice the leaves starting to turn yellow or show signs of wilting.
- WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE - With this listing you will receive an indoor plant in a 12cm pot, measuring 40cm-50cm in height including the pot. Any decorative pots featured in our listing imagery are not included.
