• HOW TO PLANT PAEONIA Plant bareroot peonies in Autumn or early Spring in fertile, welldrained soil in a sunny position. Position the eyes (buds) just 23cm below soil level to avoid poor flowering. Space plants around 6090cm apart to allow for mature growth. After planting, water thoroughly to help establish roots. Mulch lightly in Spring to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Avoid planting too deeply, which can inhibit flowering.
