- CANNA LARGE FLOWERED HYBRIDS SEEDS: One of the most magnificent, tropical looking perennials, ideally suited to large patio containers which can then be overwintered in a frost-free location. An excellent performer in garden trials.
- SOW: February to April, FLOWERS: July to October, HEIGHT: 120cm, SPREAD: 50cm, SEEDS: 25 Approx.
- FOR INDOOR SOWING: WHEN - February to April. WHERE – In trays of seed compost. HOW - Sow thinly, cover lightly with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Keep at approx. 20C. Seedlings appear 14-21 days. CARE - Grow on at approx. 15℃. When large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays. Stand outside for a few days late May (avoid frosts). Transplant into large patio containers or 40cm apart in a garden flowering position. Keep moist and weed free. FLOWERS – July to October. Remove dead spikes to prolong flowering.
- TIP: Soak seed in warm water for 24 hours before sowing.
