Product Description Canesten Thrush Combi Pessary & External Cream: a 2-step solution to calm the itch and clear the infection for a complete relief. Treat both the internal cause and external symptoms of vaginal thrush with this complete treatment. Canesten Thrush Combi calms the itching and soreness caused by thrush. With a single pessary and easy to use applicator, this pack also comes with double strength thrush cream to treat your uncomfortable external symptoms. Insert the pessary into the vagina with the help of the applicator before going to sleep at night for convenient and comfortable treatment. Gently smooth the external cream on the affected area 2-3 times daily until symptoms disappear. This pack includes one pessary with applicator and one 10-gram tube of external cream. Canesten Thrush Combi Pessary & External Cream contains clotrimazole. Always read the label. Compared to Canesten 1% cream. Ingredients The Pessary contains Clotrimazole 500mg It also contains Lactose Monohydrate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Lactic Acid, Maize Starch, Crospovidone Calcium Lactate Pentahydrate, Magnesium Stearate, Silicon Dioxide and Hypromellose The 10g tube of Cream contains Clotrimazole 200mg (2% w/w) It also contains Sorbitan Stearate, Polysorbate 60, Cetyl Palmitate, Cetostearyl Alcohol, Octyldodecanol, Benzyl Alcohol and Purified Water Directions Do not use Canesten Combi Pessary & Cream but consult your doctor if this is the first time you have had symptoms of vaginal thrush. Do not use to treat nail or scalp infections. Directions (Ages 16 to 60): Wash your hands before and after using the pessary and cream. Insert the pessary into the vagina preferably at night using the applicator provided and apply the cream thinly to the affected area 2 to 3 times a day. If no improvement is seen after 7 days consult your doctor. FOR USE IN AND AROUND THE VAGINA ONLY. Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in the Pessary or Cream, or other vaginal treatments for thrush. Do not use the pessary or cream, and see your doctor as soon as possible if: You are pregnant or trying to become pregnant. You have had more than two episodes of vaginal thrush in the last 6 months. You or your partner has previously had a sexually transmitted disease. Or you have any of the following symptoms: Irregular or abnormal vaginal bleeding or a blood-stained discharge. Ulcers, blisters or sores of the vagina or vulva. Lower abdominal pain. Pain or difficulty in passing urine. Fever or chills. Feeling sick or vomiting. A foul smelling discharge from the vagina.
