This is a top quality Merino felting wool suitable for both needle felting, wet felting and spinning. Available in many vibrant colours for you to choose from and select the quantity you need. It is exceptionally soft to touch as it is 64's quality (23 micron) and this makes it particularly good for 2D felting - eg 'painting with wool' and mixed media work. It will come to you with cut ends and depending on the quantity may arrive vacuum packed or via Hermes. When vacuum packed it makes it letterbox friendly - this does not damage the fibres as they spring back to life as soon as they are released from the packaging. The roving is sourced from non-mulesed sheep from both Australia and South America and is dyed to conform to Oeko-Tex100 quality system and conforms also with EN71 making it safe and child friendly and colourfast. Please remember though that felting needles are very sharp if you are working with children. The photographs are a good representation of the colours but be aware that colour monitors can vary.
