Product description
Campsis Flava, also commonly known as the Yellow Trumpet Vine, is a stunning, flowering, climbing plant which produces an eye-catching summer spectacle of blooms. Deciduous, dark green leaves grow on climbing vines which cling to surfaces with their aerial rootlets, covering walls and fences with glossy foliage. Throughout the summer months, bright, golden yellow, trumpet-shaped flowers pepper the climbing vines. This outdoor plant flowers for a long period over the summer, perfect for adding colour to the garden for the full season. The Yellow Trumpet Vine is also a bee friendly plant, fabulous for attracting bees, butterflies, and other pollinators to the garden with masses of bright, summer flowers. This climber looks great planted against a bare wall, fence, or trellis, where the vines can grow and climb to create a magnificent floral display. Campsis Flava will grow best in moist, well-drained soil in a sunny spot in the garden. Prune in late winter or early spring to encourage new growth and flowering for the coming season. This plant is deciduous, so will lose its foliage over the winter months each year. Please Note: Images are for illustrative purposes only and designed to be a representation of the item(s) being sold. Depending on seasonality, deciduous plants may be supplied in their dormant state and without leaves. Plants may also be pruned back, lower than stated heights, to encourage new growth.
