Product description

Camlab filters branded polysulfone (PES) syringe filters which comes in a pack of 50. This syringe filter has a pore size of 0.2um and a diameter of 33mm, with a hydrophilic membrane. These filters are sterile and are RNase, DNase, DNA and pyrogen free, and come individually wrapped. The syringe filter is economical, disposable and extremely easy to use in various applications. These PES syringe filters are good for use in aqueous applications and biological samples. This is because they have low binding to proteins and nucleic acids. This PES filter can also be used for tissue culture additive and media filtration. This is due to the filters low affinity for proteins and the extractability with substantially faster flow rates than PVDF syringe filters. This filter has a water flow rate of 21m3/m2/hr/bar with a bubble point of 430kPa. Bubble point refers to the pressure required for the liquid to flow through a fry filter membrane. In order for the liquid to flow through the membrane, the bubble point must be overcome. The maximum temperature that this syringe filter can operate at is 90oC with a chemical resistance to most hydrophilic fluids.
