This paper has a particle retention of 12-15um and a diameter of 90mm. This wide pore filter paper is used for coarse and voluminous precipitates such as iron, aluminium and chromium hydroxide. It can also be used for silicon determination in steel and pig iron analysis. This qualitative filter paper is made with 100% cotton linters. To make these papers high purity they are washed out with acid and then cleaned with demineralised water.
