Product description The Calcium Magnesium formulation was created by recognising that each mineral depends on the other for proper assimilation in the body. Calcium is essential to the health of bones, teeth and muscles, and contributes to normal muscle function and neurotransmission. It plays an essential role in normal blood clotting, and the normal function of digestive enzymes. Magnesium activates more than 300 enzymes in the body, but more than 80% of the natural magnesium in grains is lost by removal of the germ and outer layers, which happens in food processing. Magnesium contributes to the maintenance of bones, teeth and normal muscle function. It also plays a role in normal protein sythesis, and conributes to a reduction in tiredness and fatigue. This combination also includes Vitamin D, known to work synergistically with Calcium, as well as Phosphorus, Zinc, Copper and Boron, and contributes to normal blood calcium levels and the normal function of the immune system.
