In order to process large amount of cabbage with ease and efficiency this shredder has a sturdy body made out of almost 3 lb of pure beech wood. This wood is traditionally used because of its toughness and ability to withstand prolonged exposure to water without warping or molding. Natural, no oil, polish or stain, chemical free surface. At the top back of the shredder is a carved out notch for the firm holding during shredding. Three sharp blades, made out of stainless steel speed the shredding efficiency with every move and produce thin cuts. The finger safety box moves smoothly along the channel tracks placed on the side of the cabbage shredder. It fits average sized cabbage but the larger cabbage can be cut to fit. With this box the shredding is much easier as the user does not have to hold the cabbage but only the box during the movements. Only light pressure is needed on the top of the cabbage.
