Product Description The holesaw is made of thinner material so to make a hole the holesaw needs to remove less material - therefore it's quicker. It automatically ejects the slug removing the need to poke the slug out with an implement of some sort. The teeth are constant pitch at 8 tpi meaning that there are more teeth actually cutting at a constant rate. This also results in a very clean hole - using a standard holesaw can result in burrs. They are manufactured from 8 % Cobalt alloy steel which gives vastly superior performance than normal HSS materials.
