Anvil Secateurs give great cutting power as the high-carbon blade bites down towards the compound material chopping surface. Designed for fast removal or pruning of dead and woody stems, where cutting power and speed are an advantage - because of their action some crushing of the stem may occur and so for pruning green growth, Bypass Secateurs are recommended.
