Product Description The Australian Shepherd is characterised by a balanced physique of middle size and bone thickness. The coat has a thick undercoat and is otherwise medium length and weatherproof. The topcoat is smooth to lightly wavy. Despite its name, the Australian Shepherd originated in North America. The first breed registry was established by the Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA), which was founded in 1957 in Arizona. In addition, the International Australian Shepherd Association (IASA) was founded in 1966.
