Product Description Glucomannan (Konjac) is a form of water soluble fibre, which has been shown in research to contribute to weight loss in the context of an energy restricted diet, at a dose of 3g per day. Glucomannan is sourced from the rhizomes of the Amorphophalli Konjac plant, generally found in South-East Asia, and has also been shown to contribute to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels, at a dose of 4g per day. Glucomannan (Konjac) Powder is suitable for anyone following a calorie controlled diet, who is aiming to lose weight. It should be taken with plenty of water to ensure it reaches the stomach. The product is not suitable for people with swallowing difficulties, as the fibre is expansive.
