With our protective films/underlay discs, you can avoid surface scratches, discolouration, complaints, hassle and unnecessary time. The Brunoplast NIVIFIX protective films / washers prevents discolouration caused by material abrasion on the tile surface. At the same time, the protective film/washer also protects against the finest scratches as they can occur when "grainy" materials such as tile adhesive etc. get between the pull hood and the tile surface. With about 3-5% of standard tile materials, discolouration occurs due to material abrasion, especially (white) high-gloss tiles often have a very (scratch) sensitive surface. Depending on the nature of the tile surface, discolouration may occur occasionally, which is caused by material abrasion when tightening/tightening the NIVIFIX pull hoods, which creates the desired pressure on the tile / tile surface. Since a tile does not see the sensitivity of its surface, we recommend the basic use of the protective films / washers. Before starting laying, however, you can check the material compatibility by rubbing over the tile surface with the pull hood under firm pressure and checking whether discolouration is caused by material abrasion. If this is the case, discolouration can also be removed with special cleaners. However, this is very time-consuming and labour-intensive and much more expensive than the preventive use of our protective films/washers.
