Product description
Brunnera macrophylla 'Jack Frost', also known as Siberian Bugloss, is a stunning hardy perennial prized for its luminous silver-white foliage. The large, heart-shaped leaves shimmer in shadier borders, creating a bright focal point where light is limited. In spring, delicate sprays of sky-blue, forget-me-not-like flowers rise above the foliage, adding seasonal charm to its long-lasting structure. Perfect for difficult, shady spots, this resilient ground cover plant is quick to establish and easy to maintain. It pairs beautifully with ferns or other woodland perennials and makes a charming feature at the front of borders or in cottage-style gardens. Height: 45cm (18""). Spread: 60cm (24""). How to Grow: Plant in a shaded or partially shaded spot in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. If growing in drier soils, enrich with well-rotted compost or manure before planting to help retain moisture and support healthy growth. More Info: Water regularly during dry spells until well established. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps in spring to maintain vigour and encourage fresh growth. Brunnera requires minimal care once settled, making it a superb choice for low-maintenance planting schemes. Images shown are for guidance only and show the expected results of plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months). Decorative pots are not supplied.
