About this item
- Latin Name: Brunnera macrophylla Alexanders Great
- Common Name: Siberian Bugloss
- Characteristics: Brunnera Alexanders Great is a deciduous perennial with heart-shaped leaves of silver colouring. Green is tinged in the scale-like appearance of each leaf, which adds an abundance of character to the unique leaf shape. In the Spring months, small, sky blue flowers will show above the foliage. Due to the plants deciduous nature, it will lose its leaves later in the year, before returning with fresh new foliage in Spring.
- Plant Advice: Brunneras should be planted in moist, well-drained soil and kept in full sun at the best of times. You should maintain moist soil throughout its time with you, as it was will not appreciate dry soil. Once a week watering should suffice, whilst keeping the aforementioned tips in mind.
