The extended length Brompton seatpost is designed for the slightly taller rider (as a guide, with an inside leg 33 to 35 inches) - this seatpost gives up to 6cm extra saddle height than the standard Brompton seat pillar. Replacing the standard seatpost with this longer one is one of the easiest DIY Brompton jobs, and involves the following steps: Remove the Pentaclip / saddle from the existing seatpost (you can leave the saddle attached to the Pentaclip) using an allen key Release the seatpost clamp Slide the old seatpost out (downwards) of the frame Insert the new seatpost into (upwards) the frame Fix the pentaclip / saddle to the new seatpost (Torque should be 15Nm for the Pentaclip) Chrome silver finish 31.8mm diameter Remember!
