- BROAD BEAN SUPERGUADULCE SEEDS: Classic for autumn sowing, for early crops of attractive, white beans. High yielding plants are compact, resilient and extremely winter hardy. Good source of vitamin B1, folate and fibre.
- SOW: October to February, HARVEST: June to August, SPACING: 60cm, HEIGHT: 90cm, PREFERS: Full Sun, SEEDS: 45 Approx.
- SOW OUTDOORS: Where they are to crop, 5cm deep directly into finely prepared soil which has already been watered. To make best use of space sow seeds 23cm apart in a staggered double row, creating a zig zag pattern. Allow 60cm between rows. Seedlings usually appear in 14-24 days. Do not sow in very cold weather or when soil is waterlogged. Sowvings benefit from cloche protection. Water well until plants are established.
- Protection from birds is advisable wheng(ants are young. Pinch out growing tips when flowering starts, to encourage pods to set and help deter blackfly.
