Unlike competitor products made of thinner materials (typically 420D or less), this strong and sturdy organiser will provide many years of use. It has a strong metal frame with double hangers which easily take the weight of the shoes stored within. This organiser really is tough. We've been using one daily for over 5 years, and its still going strong. It has virtually no wear and tear and works as well now as it did when new. The organiser has a wire frame at the top, and plastic inserts for each shelf, which are all removeable, allowing you to put the fabric on its own through a washing machine (on hand wash setting). Each pocket easily accommodates one large shoe, or a pair of sandals / slippers. It is really easy to get shoes in and out, making it perfect for everyday use in the hallway or cloakroom cupboard, and for storing the shoes you wear a lot. There may be cheaper organisers in the market, but few which have the durability, good looks and longevity of this one. We use plastic shelf inserts whereas most use cardboard, and 600D fabric where most use 420D or less. Cheaper organisers may well work fine when new, but ours will give you years and years of reliable use. NOTE: Exact capacity will depend on size and style of shoes.
