As a result, Braun recommends you replace the foil and cutting block every 18 months to ensure your shaver continues to perform at its best. This replacement part is suitable for the following Series 1 and FreeControl model numbers: 190, 1775, 1715 Where can I find the type/model number? For the majority of the Braun products the model name or number is placed well visible on the housing. For some of them the model name/number will only be present on the packaging and instruction manual and not on the product itself. Should this information ever get misplaced, a four digit type number, which is imprinted on all Braun products, can be used to determine the appropriate part(s) for your product. The type or model number can usually be found in the following places on a Braun Shaver: On the back of the shaver, on the shaver housing under the cutterblock or under the long-hair trimmer. Directions 1. Remove the replacement film and cutter from the packaging. 2. Find the old foil and cutter on your electric shaver. 3. Carefully replace the old foil and cutter with the new one. 4. Make sure it is properly secured and aligned. 5. Discard the old foil and cutter. Safety Warning Do not put small parts in your mouth as there is a risk of choking.
