ITEM DESCRIPTION A premium grade chloride-free frost proofer and rapid hardener designed to allow the use of mortars/concretes in freezing conditions as well as accelerating the rate of cure. Bond It FROSTPROOFER & RAPID HARDENER increases the rate of curing of the mortar to reduce the possibility of cracking, caused by frost. This formulation works by exothermic reaction and has been manufactured to offer a non corrosive, CHLORIDE-FREE product which will not attack stainless steel used in wall ties, concrete reinforcement, etc. Uses To facilitate all year round construction where low, ambient temperature may normally cause a lull in the rate of production. Bond It FROSTPROOFER & RAPID HARDENER increases the rate of hydration, accelerating the rate of cure as well as allowing a reduction in the total volume of gauging water required, therefore, improving the frost resistance of the mortar/concrete. Due to the final mortar/concrete being more dense the final result is an improved oil and water resistant product. When mixed neat with Portland cement it can be used to plug holes caused by pressure leaks. Application Add to the gauging water in the ratio of 1.25 to 2.5 litres Bond It FROSTPROOFER & RAPID HARDENER to each 25Kgs of cement and reduce the total amount of gauging water accordingly. After laying of the mortar/concrete take usual precautions for protection against climatic conditions. For plugging pressure leaks mix neat with ordinary Portland cement to a putty like consistency before pressing into the hole immediately as this will begin to cure within 2 to 5 minutes of mixing under normal conditions.
