The refined "pantography" is an old and almost forgotten glass-makers technique for decorating glass. The especially lacy motifs are first engraved on a zinc plate - today replaced with automatic computer technology - and finally traced from the pantograph whilst simultaneously placed over the glass that has been submerged in wax.
