Red Tracer dye is highly concentrated. It is specially formulated to cover a wide array of tracing applications. Our high concentration produces a sharp color for superior visibility across various conditions. Proper dosage will vary depending o personal usage. Most applications will require 1 to 2 gallons of dye per 12,000 gallons of water. Use Black Ultraviolet light when using in low light conditions. Common uses include, but are not limited to : Plumbing tracing, flow mapping and rate of flow studies, pollution studies, storm and sewer drain analyses, retention time studies, lake river and pond analyses, septic system analysis, and leak detection in fluid carrying systems to name a few.
