Guitar Nubbit was born 1923, and met Skippy White, owner of the label “Bluestown” in 1961 and recorded some songs in the style of Blind Boy Fuller. “Alabama Watson” was recorded 1965, but never played in public. Guitar Nubbit opened for J.B. Hutto and the Houserockers in 1977 in Boston.
