How to Apply Always apply a Bluesky Base Coat before you begin. Apply 1-2 coats of your gel polish, curing under a nail lamp for 60 seconds LED or 120 seconds UV after each coat. Apply your Bluesky Top Coat and wipe off the tacky layer with cleanser for a high-gloss finish. Directions 1. Prep your nails: File your nails to the desired shape and buff for a clean and dry surface. Push back your cuticles, trimming if necessary. Use a cleanser wipe to remove any dust and debris and to clean your nails before beginning the application stage. 2. Apply gel base coat: Apply a thin layer of gel base coat and cure it under a UV/LED lamp. 3. Apply gel polish: Apply a thin layer of gel polish and cure it under a UV/LED lamp. Repeat this step for each color if multiple colors are being used. 4. Apply gel top coat: Apply a thin layer of gel top coat and cure it under a UV/LED lamp. 5.
