Product description Relaxing on its back, the shell on its stomach: the sea otter from the BlueBrixx Pro range captures exactly the moment this animal is known for. From 1840 stones, a model is created that reproduces the typical posture and soft body shapes of the marine mammal amazingly vivid. The sea otter, scientifically Enhydra lutris, lives along the northern Pacific coast from northern Japan to California and, despite its way of life in the sea, belongs to the family of martens. Unlike seals or whales, it has no insulating layer of fat and instead depends on its coat, which is considered the densest in the entire animal kingdom. It is also known for its regular tool use: floating on his back, it lays hard prey like shells on his stomach and cracks them. This is exactly the scene that the model implements. The fine workmanship is possible thanks to the diamond blocks format. These bricks are significantly smaller than standard format clamping blocks and thus allow soft curves and harmonious proportions that would not be accessible with larger stones. All details are made entirely of stones, so that a high level of detail is created despite its compact design. The warm colouring in different brown and beige tones gives the coat visible structure, the light face with the dark eyes and the small nose sets a clear contrast. A coloured accent on the stomach completes the display.
