Clean the wound area thoroughly. 2. Dry the wound area completely. 3. Apply the steri-strip along the length of the wound, parallel to the skin tension lines. 4. Press the ends of the steri-strip down firmly. 5. Do not apply the steri-strip directly to the wound. 6. Change the steri-strip every 24 hours or as directed by a healthcare professional.
