Product description Use Interpet Pond Balance to safely and gradually adjust your ponds water chemistry, achieving a balance which promotes higher forms of plant growth, and at the same time creates conditions unsuitable for blanket weed. Interpet Pond Balance has been proven over many years to be an effective and safe treatment for blanketweed. Specifications Fully Treats Ponds Up to 2275 litres (500 gallons) Directions Contents: 3 dose course of treatment for a 2,273 Litre (500 gallon) pond. Instructions: Calculate the ponds volume using the following calculation- Length in metres x with in metres x average depth in metres x 1000 = litres, divide by 4.54 for gallons. To a bucket of warm water add one level scoop of pond balance for every 360 litres (80 gallons) of pond water. Stir well and allow Pond Balance to dissolve, then distribute evenly over the pond surface. Repeat the dose every 10 days for one month, we recommend that the pond has a good level of aeration while adding any treatment. To prevent further new algae growth we recommend dosing your pond with pond balance once a month or there after as and when required. We also recommend removing dead algae as it appears and using Blagdon Sludge Buster to help break down the waste
