• SIZING: A pack of five picture mounts for mounting artwork, paintings, prints, crafts and photos. The outside size is 40x40cm and will fit a picture frame of this size. The inside size/aperture is cut to fit a 25x25cm picture. We cut the aperture slightly smaller than this size so your artwork can be taped to the back of the mount.
• COLOUR/TEXTURE: These mounts are black and they have a white core and smooth surface. They compliment a wide range of artwork.
• SPECIFICATIONS: Our Mounts are professionally cut by our picture framers in our workshop. We use Gunnar Precision machinery to cut our mount with a 45 degree bevelled edge. The mounts are 1.4mm thick and Ph neutral. We wrap our mounts for delivery with care and multiple layers ensuring they reach you in pristine condition.
• ABOUT MOUNTS: Mounts can enhance the visual appearance of a framed picture and can really make it stand out. On a practical level, mounts form a function of creating a barrier between your artwork and the glass, and helps keep dust and condensation away from it.
• CHOOSING THE CORRECT SIZE: The outside size: This is the size of your picture frame (if you have one). So if you have an A4 frame simply choose a A4 mount. The Inside size: This relates to the picture size you wish to mount. If you have an A5 print then you will want to buy a “to fit A5”. Therefore you simply need a A4 to fit A5. Note that the width of the mount and whether the borders are even, will depend on the dimensions selected

Product /What are you purchasing A pack of two black precision machine cut 45 Degree Bevelled Edge mount. It is a 1.4mm thick pH neutral cream core mount, which you attach (tape) to surround your photo/picture. It is then inserted into your picture frame, sitting between the glass and backing board. Sizes/Measurements The size menu shows the external mount size and the internal photo/picture size. To obtain your measurements: - 1. Please measure the width and length of the picture/photo you intend to mount. This is your internal mount size. Please note we cut all our mount openings 2mm smaller all around to enable you to easily attach your artwork/photo to it. 2. If you already have a picture frame you intend to insert your picture and mount in, please measure your frame (the opening at the back, not the glass at the front). This is your external mount size. For example, if you have a picture which measures 3”x3” and a picture frame opening of 5”x5” then you should order size 5”x5” to fit 3”x3”.
