Optional extra - add a diffuser for your ceiling shade (the diffuser will not work for a table/floor standing shade) This is a translucent polyproplene diffuser which sits at the bottom ring of the ceiling light shade. It allows light through but is not see through/transparent. It is used to diffuse the light and spread the light. The diffuser is effective for ceiling light shades to hide the bulb and frame from sight when looking at the light shade. It is very easy to install, it sits at the bottom ring of the lampshade. Can be made to fit either a ceiling pendant or table/floor standing lamp. This lampshade will fit a standard bayonet cap (BC) fitting or Edison screw (E26 or E27) fitting.
