As one of the most durable foam-based helmets in our Black Diamond collection, the Vision MIPS is made from EPP composite foam with moulded EPS and an ABS helmet shell to protect against dents. At the same time, the helmet is equipped with the new, revolutionary MIPS technology. The MIPS system protects the head from the rotational force generated in the event of an impact when the impact is made from an oblique angle. This additional protection system has been proven to reduce the rotational force on the brain by absorbing and deflecting impacts acting at an angle on the helmet. The improved fit on the sides and back improves protection function and meets proposed UIAA requirements. The strategically placed vents provide air circulation in warm temperatures. The Vision's attachment system and chin strap are lightweight and comfortable, while the integrated headlamp clips are arranged so that no material snags when loops are pulled over and a lamp can be attached after dark.
