Kusintha is an ongoing funding project launched in 2018 by Christian Bitz and his partner Lisette Rützou. Kusintha focuses on the poorest areas in the world by, among other things, establishing local fountains with clean drinking water, securing harvests and giving children the opportunity to attend kindergarten and school. The Kusintha collection is made of pretty glass products. With each sale, part of the amount is donated to the Kusintha project. From 2018 to 2021, more than DKK 700,000 were collected for vital projects. Kusintha has helped establish 9 fountains, secure harvests and set up a nursery in Malawi, among other things. The aim of the project is still to raise more than DKK 200,000 per year in donations by selling Kusintha products.
