When should you offer this wool to your birds? Wild garden birds build nests from January to early July, so it's best to offer this bird nest wool for the whole of this season. By offering this wool throughout the whole season you can encourage your birds to take as much as they need at any time. How should you offer this material to your birds? This bird wool can be placed in many different types of holder. Ideally use one with a larger mesh size. Fat ball feeders, suet block feeders and similar feeders are ideal.
