Like all biOrb, biOrb aquariums the biOrb Tube 15 MCR uses the same proven filter technology as the rest of the range. The ceramic material provides biological filtration has an area equivalent to the size of a football field. Excess waste is absorbed and remains trapped in the filter insert at the bottom. To maintain the biOrb Tube aquarium all you have to do is simply replace the filter insert and 1/3 of the water every 4 weeks. For safety and peace of mind the lighting and pump work with low voltage for safety. The aquarium itself is made of acrylic glass and is therefore much more durable than glass.
