That close pass… what if the next one isn’t just a scare? You should never feel unsafe riding your bike. Every cyclist knows the feeling. A vehicle approaches from behind, passes too close, too fast, and leaves you shaken, frustrated, or worse. Even experienced riders can feel vulnerable when drivers fail to leave enough room while overtaking. Despite updated guidance in the United Kingdom Highway Code recommending that motorists leave at least one point five metres when passing cyclists, many road users remain unaware of the safe distance required. VeloVision was created to help make that guidance impossible to ignore. VeloVision is a high visibility cycling safety accessory designed for safer overtaking and improved cycling visibility on the road. This rear bike sign and bicycle safety sign helps remind drivers to leave a safe one point five metre passing distance when overtaking cyclists. Ideal for commuters, road cyclists, club riders, and everyday bike users looking for close pass prevention, bike road safety, reflective cycling accessories, and safer cycling equipment. It combines the benefits of a cycling safety sign, rear bike sign, and bike safety sign in one highly visible cycling accessory. Designed to improve cycling visibility and driver awareness, this reflective bike sign helps support safer overtaking and everyday road cycling safety. The one (1) point five metre cycling safety sign is a high visibility rear mounted reminder designed to encourage safer overtaking behaviour from approaching drivers. Using bold graphics, strong contrast colours, and a clear visual message, the sign reinforces the safe passing distance in a simple and effective way. Rather than confrontation, it promotes awareness. Rather than relying on technology or complicated equipment, it works through visibility and behavioural influence. Designed for road cyclists, commuters, club riders, and everyday bike users, the sign is lightweight, durable, and easy to attach to a wide range of bikes and riding setups. The bright yellow design and bold black symbols are highly visible in daylight, low light, and vehicle headlights, helping you stand out more clearly on busy roads and country lanes alike. Whether you ride to work, train on open roads, or enjoy weekend group rides, VeloVision helps make your personal space more visible to others around you. It acts as a constant reminder that cyclists deserve room to ride safely and confidently. Key benefits include encouraging safer overtakes, improving rider visibility, supporting safer road awareness, and providing an immediate visual cue without batteries, charging, or complicated installation. You cannot control every driver on the road. But you can influence them. Protect your space. Protect your ride.
