BIAOBIAO 1.2 Meter K Type Thermocouple Temperature Thermocouple Sensor Temperature Detector Temperature Gauge with M4 Thread for 3D Printer Temperature Sensor
About this item
- A Type K thermocouple refers to any temperature sensor containing Chromel and Alumel conductors, that meets the output requirements as stated in ANSI/ASTM E230 or IEC 60584 for Type K thermocouples. This may be an immersion sensor, a surface sensor, wire or another style of sensor or cable.
- Type K (chromel–alumel) is the most common general-purpose thermocouple with a sensitivity of approximately 41 µV/°C.[10] It is inexpensive, and a wide variety of probes are available in its −200 °C to +1350 °C (−330 °F to +2460 °F) range. Type K was specified at a time when metallurgy was less advanced than it is today, and consequently characteristics may vary considerably between samples. One of the constituent metals, nickel, is magnetic; a characteristic of thermocouples made with magnetic

Product description
What is thermocouple? A thermocouple is an electrical device consisting of two dissimilar electrical conductors forming electrical junctions at differing temperatures. A thermocouple produces a temperature-dependent voltage as a result of the thermoelectric effect, and this voltage can be interpreted to measure temperature. Thermocouples are a widely used type of temperature sensor. Commercial thermocouples are inexpensive, interchangeable, are supplied with standard connectors, and can measure a wide range of temperatures. In contrast to most other methods of temperature measurement, thermocouples are self powered and require no external form of excitation. The main limitation with thermocouples is accuracy; system errors of less than one degree Celsius (°C) can be difficult to achieve. Thermocouples are widely used in science and industry. Applications include temperature measurement for kilns, gas turbine exhaust, diesel engines, and other industrial processes. Thermocouples are also used in homes, offices and businesses as the temperature sensors in thermostats, and also as flame sensors in safety devices for gas-powered appliances. What is the difference between a thermometer and a thermocouple? A thermistor is a temperature-sensitive resistor, whilst a thermocouple generates a voltage proportional to the temperature. Thermocouples can work at much higher temperatures than thermistors. They are commonly used for temperature control in heating systems. K type Thermocouple with M4 thread head For 3D Printer Notice:This is not thermistor, It is thermocouple. If your 3D printer has thermistor, you will need update firmware before change to this thermocouple. Package Include: M4 thread K type Thermocouple 1.2 meter * 1pc

I wrote to Bigamart's customer support and they accompanied the process of reshipping the item until it finally arrived. I felt a genuine effort to solve the problem till it was finally solved.
The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
