Beurer IH 18 aerosol is indicated for the treatment of most upper and lower respiratory disorders such as colds, asthma, allergies, mucoviscidosis. Thanks to a large number of small particles, which thanks to their small size are able to penetrate deep into the respiratory tract, it can give relief even where traditional steam baths fail. In order to penetrate the lung alveoli, aerosol particles must not exceed 6 micrometres in diameter, particles of this size cannot be produced by traditional steam baths. The high spray power offers short inhalation times and targeted effectiveness, and the compressed air technology also allows very viscous medicines to be sprayed in addition to common liquid medicines. It is a medical device.
