BEHNA Fruit Bowl Basket Apple Shape Mesh with Lid, Fruit Basket Holder Keeps Fruit Flies and Insects Out, Vegetable Storage for Kitchen Counter Tabletop and Camping (Colour)., RED

• BREATHABLE MESH KEEPS PRODUCE FRESH:Hundreds of small ventilation holes let air move around apples, a full berry bowl, or a load of vegetables, so nothing turns soft or mouldy as fast as it would sealed inside a drawer.
• SNAP-FIT LID SEALS OUT FLIES:The lid clicks down flush against the mesh body instead of resting loosely on top, closing the gap a fruit fly would normally use to get to your fruit bowls on the counter.
• GOES WHERE YOU GO:Light enough to carry to the patio table or a camping trip, and doubles as a quick-rinse colander when you need to wash a load of fruit and veg in a hurry.
• BUILT TO OUTLAST:Iron-sprayed wire mesh keeps its shape and keeps the fruit bowl cover sitting flush months into daily use, not just for the first few weeks fresh out of the box, so you are not shopping for a replacement by spring.
• QUICK RINSE CLEAN UP:Rinse the basket and lid under the tap, no scrubbing required, and stack it flat on a shelf when it is empty. Available in red, blue, green and purple to match your kitchen.

By Tuesday, the fruit flies had shown up for the third day running, circling a bowl of nectarines you actually wanted to eat. You had already decided you were not doing that again next week. This is a fruit basket with lid built specifically to solve that, not a decorative bowl that happens to have a cover. The wire shell is iron-sprayed for a finish that resists rust from daily rinsing, shaped into a rounded apple form that holds a proper load of produce without tucking it out of sight. Hundreds of tiny perforations run the full surface, letting air pass through constantly instead of pooling moisture the way a sealed drawer or plastic tub does. That airflow is why fruit stored here tends to last noticeably longer before it turns. The cap is the part most baskets in this category get wrong. Here it seats down with a firm, audible click rather than a loose rest, sealing the join all the way round so there is nothing for a passing insect to use. Lift it off in one motion when you want the fruit, and it locks back into place without you having to check twice.
