Product description How to Use This Dog Elbow Brace  Before first use, let your dog sniff the brace near their bed to reduce anxiety.  Step 1 – Measuring for the Right Fit With your dog standing, measure the elbow’s widest part with a flexible tape. Compare to the size in product images. Measure each leg separately. Do not measure while lying down. Step 2 – Proper Fitting Technique On a non‑slip surface, slide the brace onto the leg so the curved arc matches the elbow bend. The padded section sits over the elbow. Secure lower strap first, then upper strap. You should be able to insert one finger between strap and leg – this indicates correct tightness.  Step 3 – Monitoring Fit During Use Watch for normal walking, natural leg bending, and no redness after removal. If your dog tries to remove the brace or moves stiffly, the fit may be too tight. Recheck tightness after the first hour.  Wearing Schedule Start with 20–30 minute sessions, increase over 3–5 days. Once accustomed, wear during daytime. Remove every 2–3 hours to inspect skin.
